Chris Cause is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of his friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens. He is passionate about creating change through leadership, listening, and addressing the root cause of problems. Chris wants to lead the way for everyday Americans to have a voice and an impact on our government.

With a career that has spanned from coast to coast, Chris pursued his interest in the arts through entertainment, sports, and program management. Yet, as the son of a first-grade teacher and an elementary school principal, Chris always knew the value and impact of education.  After the 2016 election, he became a teacher, because he felt called to better serve his community. He is currently a Social Studies teacher at the Polk County Sheriff’s Regional Detention Center, working with some of the most disenfranchised students in the county.

Originally from a small town in Massachusetts, Chris graduated from Fairfield University, in Fairfield, CT, with a B.A. in Fine Arts.  He is the proud parent of a smart and energetic 11-yr old boy, Zachary and he lives in Davenport, FL.  He looks forward to listening to the concerns of every citizen in Florida’s 39th District.
